It's emerged that a so-called fairer funding formula for schools in Devon will actually lead to some LOSING large sums of money.
The county was already receiving much less than the national average and changes in the system were expected to redress the balance.
Exmouth Community College stands to lose 79 thousand a year - while in Ottery St Mary the Kings School, West Hill and Ottery Primary will also lose out.
The county councillor for Ottery, Claire Wright, has written to local MP Hugo Swire asking him to step in.
