A vehicle has overturned after hitting flood water
Severe weather is continuing to cause problems across parts of the county.
Earlier this morning [Sunday], the main road between Totnes and Kingsbridge was blocked when a vehicle overturned after hitting flood water, and police are warning drivers in the area to slow down.
It comes after people reportedly become trapped inside a Newton Abbot pub last night, after the waters of the River Teign came through an open floodgate.
A Met Office yellow warning for heavy rain remains in force until 5pm this evening [Sunday]. They warn that spray and flooding on roads may make journey times longer, particularly public transport, whilst some interruption to power supplies and other services is also likely.
