Man from town arrested
A woman has been sexually assaulted on a bus in Torquay.
A woman aged in her twenties reported being approached by a man on the number 31 Stagecoach bus travelling between Torquay town centre and Watcombe between 5.30pm and 6pm on Tuesday 25 May.
The offender made sexual comments and touched the woman inappropriately, despite her repeatedly telling him to stop.
A 35-year-old man from Torquay was subsequently arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and released under investigation while police enquiries continue. They want to speak to any passengers who were on the bus who saw what happened.
