Police want witnesses after man threatened with knife in woodland
Police investigating a robbery in which a man’s wallet was stolen in South Molton last Thursday (3rd October)
The victim, aged in his 20s, was walking through the Community Woodland leading out towards Pathfields Business Park at around 8am.
He was approached by a male suspect wearing a black balaclava who barged into his shoulder, then threatened him with a knife.
He the fled across the woodland with the victim's wallet.
The suspect is described as a young male, of slim build, around 5ft 11in in height, and was wearing a full-face black ribbed balaclava with just the eyes and mouth exposed. He was also wearing a black coat with the hood up and black jogging bottoms.
Police are urging any witnesses to come forward and in particular would like to hear from a male on a push bike and dog walkers who were in the area at the time.
