Controversial spending cuts by Devon county council are to be discussed at a special meeting in May.
The council has recently announced a programme of measures in response to a shortfall in Government funding - they include the closure of old people's homes and cuts to the youth service.
The opposition Liberal Democrat group on the council claim these decisions were made 'behind closed doors' by a small group of Conservative members.
They made a successful request for the meeting - to be attended by ALL councillors - on May 14th.
