Ten years after the Exeter Falcons lost their speedway racing track, the sport could have a home in the city again.
The Falcons have found a piece of land in a so far undisclosed location where they hope to get planning permission for a new track.
If that goes through, they'll launch a fundraising drive among their many supporters.
Team managers Alan Spencer and Robert Doran say they'd like to thank all the people who've already pledged money or attended meetings to express their backing for the project.
