The people behind the redevelopment of St Margaret's School in central Exeter say they are definitely going ahead with converting it into flats.
The building's been empty since the school closed three and a half years ago.
Local developer Grenadier says it has been working with Historic England to make sure they retain the historical elements of the building whilst adapting it to their sustainable and energy efficient plans.
They expect to start building towards the end of the year.
