Allotment holders in Exeter's St Thomas area are clearing up after a fire destroyed five of their sheds earlier this week.
It broke out at about 11.45pm on Tuesday and burned the sheds to the ground.
The Police have attended and inspected the site and the Fire Service is looking at the possibility of it being deliberate.
One allotment owner, a man in his 80s called Len, lost his shed and all the equipment and other items in it - and is now reluctant to continue gardening there.
Christine Fraser from the St Thomas Allotments Association says they all want to help him.
The allotment owners are trying to trace two girls who called the fire brigade on Tuesday night - enabling firefighters to prevent even worse damage.
They want to give them a present to thank them.
If anyone knows who they are please contact Radio Exe.
