Storm Imogen has been causing disruption around Devon, bringing down trees and blowing garden furniture on to roads.
A large oak tree came down across Exeter's Pennsylvania Road earlier - and another 110 feet tall crashed on to a house and car in Ide - just as a father and daughter were about to set out in the vehicle for the school run.
A tree has fallen in Exmouth's Phear Park as well.
And part of Exeter High Street has been closed because of concerns over falling debris.
Meanwhile police are urging motorists not to drive through flood water - several have tried to get through the road which is closed under the railway bridge at Marsh Barton.
