Success for Exeter pupils on World Book Day

An Exeter school is launching an initiative to encourage pupils to read about science, to mark World Book Day.

Exeter Junior School were runners-up in a World Book Day competition for work done by its librarians to inspire children to read.

It's now focusing on the world of science and has added a selection of books on the subject to its library.

Reading Development Co-ordinator Leah Hardy believes reading still has an important place in children's lives.
