Fire quickly put out in early hours of Saturday. Thought to be deliberate.
There’s been a suspected arson attack at a property near Heavitree earl on Saturday morning.
Fire crews from Middlemoor and Danes Castle were called to Thornberry Avenue just after midnight. They put out a fire on a first floor stairwell - which they think was started deliberately.
There’s no news of any casualties.
