His bike collided with a Ford Transit in Plymouth
A teenage boy has been taken to Bristol Children's Hospital following a collision in Plymouth.
Emergency services were called to Kings Road in Devonport at around 5.50 on Wednesday 7 May, following reports of a bicycle and a white Ford Transit van.
The boy was riding the bike at the time and sustained serious injuries. He was initially taken to Derriford Hospital before being transferred to Bristol.
A thorough examination of the scene was carried out and the road was re-opened later in the evening.
