A group campaigning for Exeter to have a new theatre are presenting their plans to interested local residents this evening.
They say while the Northcott is a much-loved venue, it's too far out of the city centre and also too small to attract major touring shows.
The campaigners are calling for a one-thousand-seat theatre in the city centre, close to parking and public transport, and have set up a development group to research the feasibility of the scheme - which they say has boosted other cities' economies by millions of pounds every year.
They'll be talking about their proposals at the Bike Shed theatre this evening, starting at 7.30pm.
