Police are investigating another made jewellery theft from a shop in Exeter.
Days after thieves got away with items valued at around £17,000 from Ivor Doble, the Ernest Jones shop in High Street has also been targeted.
Jewellery worth nearly £40,000 was taken at 2.30 on Saturday afternoon
Three people entered the store and opened a secure display cabinet situated on the shop floor. They removed a quantity of high value jewellery valued at £38,000.
Police say the two men and a woman had visited Ernest JONES earlier in the day and also a number of other jewellers in EXETER including the PANDORA store in Princesshay.
Detectives say nobody was threatened or put in any danger throughout the incident.
They're keen to hear from any ‘cash for gold’ type shops or outlets if they are offerred ‘new’ items of jewellery for sale.
