The lights strung across the main shopping street have attracted national media attention and a flurry of comments on Facebook and Twitter.
John Vanderwolf says he noticed the resemblance himself on Monday evening - but thinks the pant could bring in extra Christmas shoppers as a result of the publicity they've generated for the town.
