Local residents are being warned about the risks of buying counterfeit goods as Christmas presents.
Devon and Somerset Trading Standards say the fakers deliberately target Christmas shoppers by pushing the kind of items people might buy as gifts.
A lot of counterfeit DVD box-sets have been picked up by local officers this year, along with fake L'Oreal, MAC and Benefit cosmetics.
