A new group set up to protect trees in east Devon is having its first meeting this morning.
It will look at planning policies relating to trees and how developers can be prevented from destroying them.
The forum was set up after Ottery independent councillor Claire Wright expressed concern about the felling of two 150-year-old oak trees to make way for a housing development.
