Pebblebed Vineyards creator Geoff Bowen has died.
The man who created a range of red, white and rose wine at Clyst St George has passed away after a short illness.
Geoff Bowen shot to fame in 2010 after appearing on BBC television series Dragon's Den. He secured funding from Dragon Duncan Bannatyne.
The Italian Cultural Association Exeter's brand says Mr Bowen's death is an immeasurable loss. Lympstone Manor owner Michael Caines praised his energy, love of local produce and commitment to Devon. Mr Caines says things won't be the same without him. Pebblebed Vineyards at Clyst St George has more than 200 acres of vines and a winery at Topsham.
