It's thought the dramatic three-car crash in Exmouth on Friday was caused by a driver being taken ill at the wheel. .
The collision at the junction of Withycombe Road, Hartopp Road and Exeter Road left two cars overturned and one person had to be cut free from the wreckage.
They and another casualty were treated at the scene by paramedics.
