One person seriously injured
Two people have been injured, one seriously, following a collision in Newton Abbot on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services were called around 9.20 p.m. to a two-vehicle incident involving a Honda Motorcycle and a Kia SUV on Ashburton Road in the town.
The motorbike rider, a local man aged in his forties, has serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Kia SUV, a man aged in his sixties, from Torquay, sustained minor injuries and was treated at Torbay District Hospital.
The road was closed until around midnight for an examination of the scene and for the recovery of the vehicles.
