Two men have appeared in court in connection with a violent attack on a man on the doorstep of his own home in Dawlish.
The alleged attack happened shortly after midnight on Saturday at a house in Plantation Terrace.
25 year old Joshua Joseph and 30 year old Richard Fish, both from Dawlish, are accused of grievous bodily harm with intent to endanger life.
They've been remanded in custody to appear at Exeter Crown Court next month.
