Women seriously hurt
Investigations are underway into a suspected stabbing in Newquay which left a woman badly hurt.
It happened at an address on Henver Road around 1:30 am on Sunday 1 October 2023.
Two people in their 40s are in custody being questioned by police on suspicion of attempted murder.
The victim suffered multiple stab wounds that were not life-threatening but was taken to hospital.
More officers will be patrolling the area whilst enquiries are carried out.
