Trauma packs and oxygen therapy as car flips and burns
Two people are in hospital following a car crash in East Devon in which a car ended up on its roof.
A numbers of people called emergency services after seeing the incident on the A3052 main road between Exeter and Sidmouth, near Aylesbeare.
The vehicle was well alight when a fire crew from Middlemoor reached the scene around 6.45 p.m. on Sunday. They were joined by another fire team from Sidmouth, as well as police.
The two casualties had escaped from the upturned vehicle and were treated by fire crews with trauma packs and oxygen therapy until paramedics arrived. There is no news at present on the extent of their injuries.
