Police were called out to Exe Street near Iron Bridge, at around half past midnight on Thursday 24 May, to reports of a man making threats whilst armed with a weapon.
He barricaded himself in the flat, and after five hours, firearms officers went in.
Two 37 year old men were inside - one man was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage, the other on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
