Collisions in Exmouth and Newton Poppleford
Separate crashes in East Devon in a single day have left two motorcyclist seriously hurt, with one of them fighting for his life.
The first crash at Newton Poppleford on Tuesday morning involved three vehicles; the motorbike, a cement mixer and a van. The biker's injuries are said to be life-threatening.
Then around 8.40 p.m. emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision in Exmouth.
A silver Ford Transit panel van and a green motorcycle had crashed on Salterton Road at its traffic-light controlled junction with Dinan Way.
Police have thanked the public for their patience while they investigated both scenes and ask for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to get in touch.
