DVD and video games rental company Blockbuster has gone into administration, putting jobs at two stores in Exeter at risk.
The company also has outlets in Exmouth, Newton Abbot, and another 525 nationally, employing more than 4-thousand people.
It's thought that shops will continue to trade while administrators Deloitte seek a buyer.
The news comes days after the collapse of HMV, putting around 50 Exeter jobs in jeopardy.
