Pub chain Wetherspoons is to open 200 new outlets and create 15 thousand jobs over the next five years.
Some of the new pubs will be in Devon .. the company recently acquired the Tiggs clothing store in Station Road, Teignmouth and will be investing more than one and a half million pounds to redevelop it.
Wetherspoons has outlets in Exeter, Crediton, Exmouth and Tiverton - and its Exeter-based chairman Tim Martin says they plan to open in areas where they currently don't have a presence.
