A train has hit a level crossing barrier in Hele, near Exeter. No-one's reported to have been hurt in the incident which happened at about 10 to 11 this morning and involved the 9.25 Plymouth to Aberdeen service.
It's thought the barrier at the Station Road level crossing was hit by a lorry earlier which caused it to bend, so that it was in the path of the train.
Engineers are at the scene to repair the damage and make the crossing safe - and British Transport Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
