Appeal to identify a man
Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify a potential witness who may have information about an alleged attempted murder in North Devon.
Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured who was in the Westward Ho! Area on the evening of Tuesday 15 August.
Officers are investigating reports of an assault in Westward Ho! which was reported at around 1 am on Wednesday 16 August.
The passer-by in the image is a possible witness and is in no way suspected of any offences.
A 25-year-old man from Barnstaple has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
