A woman has been charged, following an attempted robbery in Teignmouth on Wednesday [21 August].
26-year-old Emily Boyne from Chudleigh is charged with attempted robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit an offence.
She is due to appear before Plymouth Magistrates' Court today [23 August]
Armed officers deployed to locate the offender following the incident at the 'Rock n Fudge' shop in the Triangle at around 5pm.
The woman is believed to have entered the store and demanded money.
Following the incident, DI Alexandra Doughty said: “Thankfully, no one was injured."
