3 fire crews worked to release her near Sheepwash last night.
Emergency services had to rescue a woman who crashed off the road, leaving her trapped inside.
They were called to East Gorleigh near Sheepwash at 2205 last night (Tuesday 2nd July) and found the vehicle on its side.
Fire engines from Hatherleigh, Holsworthy and Barnstaple attended this incident along with a supporting officer.
They say she was released from the car with serious injuries and was left in the care of ambulance crews.
