Another person in hospital
A woman has been killed in an incident involving a coastguard helicopter landing at Derriford Hospital.
Police say two members of the public were injured as the aircraft was landing on a helipad on Friday.
One is being treated for their injuries and remains in hospital, but a local woman in her eighties has died.
Her next of kin have been informed.
It is understood one of the people involved was being to flown to hospital at the time.
The Air Accident Investigation Branch is sending a team to look into the causes of the incident. This is a normal procedure in all air incidents.
An initial investigating is being conducted by Devon and Cornwall Police which is being helped by other agencies.
