A woman has been taken to hospital after a blaze at a flat in Paignton.
Three fire crews were sent to the property in Princes Street. When they arrived they found smoke and flames at a first floor bedroom window. A woman had already jumped to the ground.
She was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth for treatment for burns and the effects of breathing in smoke.
A twenty eight year old woman is in police custody on suspicion of arson.
The bedroom was severely damaged and other parts of the flat also suffered from smoke damage.
