Emergency services were called just after 0800 this morning (Wednesday 22nd May)
Police, ambulance crews and the Coastguard were called this morning after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman in the water.
Officers say she was "recovered" from the water near Torquay Pavillion and treated by paramedics, before being taken to hospital at around 0900.
