Man arrested for number of offences
A woman remains in a critical condition in hospital after a hit and run on Alphington Road in Exeter on Saturday night (15th December)
It happened underneath the railway bridge near Exe Bridges.
The 19-year-old, was taken to the RD&E but later transferred to Derriford in Plymouth.
A 26-year-old man from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs, driving a motor vehicle dangerously and being the driver of a vehicle which failed to stop after a road accident. He has since been released on police bail.
Anyone who witnessed the incident any anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 847 of Saturday 15 December.
