After a collision on Western Way in Exeter
A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after a collison in Exeter.
The incident happened at around 11.40pm on Wednesday 1 December on Western Way in Exeter between a Red Ford Escort and a woman in her 20's.
As a result, the woman was taken to Derriford Hospital.
Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing team, armed response police and locally based response officers attended and the road was closed for around four hours.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 867 of 1 December.
