Public rushes to help
A woman was attacked by a stranger in Okehampton town centre.
The assault occurred on East Street, outside Bradley’s estate agent, around 2:45 am on Sunday, December 8th.
The victim was punched in the face and then struck with a glass bottle, resulting in a fracture and a wound requiring stitches.
Police are appealing for witnesses, particularly a group of people who came to the victim's aid.
