Both of Exmouth's lifeboats were called out earlier.. after a boat caught fire in the River Exe at Starcross.
A small cabin cruiser was found to be on fire at about 7.30 in the morning and it wasn't clear whether anyone was on board.
The Shannon class lifeboat took firefighters to the vessel, while the inshore lifeboat searched in case anyone was in the water.
After the fire was out the boat's owners were all located on the shore.... the vessel was allowed to sink in a safe location near Powderham.
