Auditions very soon

Calling all aspiring actors and young stage stars!

The Northcott Theatre, in collaboration with Laneth Bett, is holding auditions for their annual pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

They're looking for talented kids aged 6 to 11 to share the starring roles, with each performer getting 12 chances to shine on stage.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the magic of theatre, with a few lines to learn, simple songs and dance routines, and the chance to wear amazing costumes and hairstyles.

As co-artistic director of Laneth Bett says, they're looking for kids with energy, comic timing, and bags of personality to bring the story to life.

Auditions will be held in a fun, workshop style at the Barnfield Theatre in Exeter on Saturday 27 July.

You must sign up through the Northcott Theatre website before Wednesday 16 July.

Creative director and joint chief executive of the Northcott Theatre, Martin Berry, adds, 'There's nothing quite like the magic of a homegrown panto made right here in the southwest, full of local talent and packed with unforgettable moments for families of all ages.

I can't wait to see our brilliant young performers having the time of their lives on stage alongside a top-notch professional cast.'

This year's pantomime follows the record-breaking success of last year's production of Cinderella.
