The 50th Historic Vehicle Gathering takes place at Powderham Castle, Kenton, near Exeter, on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July from 10am until 4:30PM.

Classic vehicle enthusiasts from across the Exeter area will be treated to a special display of attractions as part of the Historic Vehicle Gathering’s 50th anniversary when it returns to Powderham Castle, near Kenton, on July 12 and 13. Organised by the Crash Box and Classic Car Club, this annual event attracts a healthy number of individual entries and club displays from the Exeter area
As part of the special attractions planned for the 50th gathering, there will be an 80th anniversary VE Day display with wartime vehicles and 1940s music performed by the Hummingbirds. In addition, there will also be the return of some of the vehicles that attended the very first Historic Vehicle Gathering, which include a 1933 Morgan V-twin three-wheeler and a 1934 Morris 10/4 Tourer.
There will over 1,500 vehicles in attendance alongside trade stands, craft stalls, charity displays, exautojumble, children's rides, refreshments and catering and roaming live music.
The Historic Vehicle Gathering also helps to raise funds for various local charities, with this year’s headline charities being supported are Hospiscare (Exeter), Sidmouth Living with Cancer Support Group (Sidmouth Area) and StarterMotor.
