Cofton named Green SME of the Year

A Devon holiday park has been named as one of the UK's greenest after being given three major awards for it's sustainability efforts.

Cofton was named Green SME of the Year at the Green Awards UK 2025, and was recognised for its 'outstanding' commitment to environmental sustainability.

It also took home two Gold Awards at the Food Drink Devon Awards for Sustainability Pioneer and Hospitality at their on-site cafe.

The park uses solar power, converting food waste to renewable energy, and running various conservation schemes to help the environment.

The awards are judged by experts from the government, academia and private sector who highlight those making a difference in protecting nature and creating greener futures.

Chris Jeffery, Director at Cofton Holidays, said: “We’re over the moon to have our sustainability efforts recognised nationally and locally. Winning Green SME of the Year, alongside Gold Awards for both sustainability and hospitality, means so much to our whole team.

Every decision we make,  from the grassroots to the big-picture strategy, is guided by our commitment to care for the environment while creating amazing holiday experiences. These awards are a true celebration of teamwork, community, and doing what’s right for the planet.”
