We're just one month away from the 2018/19 season.
The Chiefs came agonignsly close to lifting the iconic Premiership trophy for the second time last year when they fell short in the final at Twickenham. It's a final Exeter remember vividly, however, Baxter says his team are improving year on year and still have much more to over.
All International plays have now returned to Sandy Park earlier than expected, and training is going well says Baxter.
This month, the Chiefs have three pre season games to get their squad into shape. They face the Cornish Pirates, Cardiff Blues and Munster within the space of a week. Despite the game meaning nothing, Baxter tells us he has no plans resting key players.
"It's a highly competitive squad and everyone needs to show there worth," said Exeter Chiefs and England International Henry Slade. Pre season provides the perfect opportunity for players to impress Baxter.
