Alarm may have been going off for prolonged period between 1 and 7am
A social club in Marsh Road, Newton Abbot has been burgled, with the loss of £1,000 in cash. A fruit machine was broken into at the club.
It's thought a burglar alarm sounded for a long time, some time between 1 and 7am on Sunday morning, 8 July.
Police are asking for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at that time to call them on 101, quoting crime number CR/060797/18. Calls cost 15 pence.
