150 dog attacks on livestock in Devon and Cornwall

As lambing season gets underway, police in the area are reminding owners to keep their dogs under control.

Attacks on livestock usually increase as the winter season comes to an end.

Last year, there were more than 150 incidents reported across Devon and Cornwall.

Officers say dog owners can be prosecuted if their pet attacks livestock and they are asking them to use a lead.
