It happened yesterday lunchtime.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed outside Lidl in Torquay yesterday lunchtime (Wednesday 29th May).
The 33 year old left the shop when the car he was in was approached and kicked by three males.
The victim left the car and was chased across Newton Road where the assault took place.
He sustained a serious stab wound to his back.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
It is believed that all parties are known to each other.
