There's anger in Exeter's St Thomas area after vandals destroyed trees planted by local residents as an asset to the community.
The fruit trees in Cowick Barton Playing Fields were targeted on Tuesday night.
The police have been informed and investigations are underway to find the culprits.
Local councillor Paul Bull is furious.
