Vandals have struck in Budleigh Salterton - wrenching flower-filled troughs off railings and overturning them.
The damage - targeting the town's Budleigh in Bloom displays - was caused over the weekend and left a mess which took local volunteers hours to clean up.
It has also upset the team who spent hours creating the floral displays to make their town look attractive.
The town council will now look into whether CCTV cameras could be installed in that area.
