The organisers of Saturday's march in Exeter protest against the English Defence League demonstration on the same day say they've sent a clear message to supporters of the far right group.
Around a thousand people from a range of different groups paraded through the city centre in a celebration of diversity - meanwhile the EDL march attracted about 200 people.
Four people were arrested in connection with the EDL march - two men were taken into custody for possessing offensive weapons. One has been charged with possessing the weapon and a Class A drug, and bailed to appear in court in early December.
Two were arrested for drunken behaviour.
