The anniversary of a fire which destroyed five historic homes in Crediton is being marked with a writing and arts project, exploring the heritage of the site.
A number of families lost their homes and all their possessions after the fire swept through the 500 year old cottages in Buller Square on the 2nd of February last year.
Crediton Arts Centre has been awarded a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to pay for a series of workshops for a group of local adults and teenagers.
Those selected to take part will produce work on the history of the site, for an exhibition this summer.
