Ben Moon marks testimonial year

Watch: Exeter Chiefs legend reflects on remarkable decade

Exeter Chiefs and England rugby star Ben Moon is celebrating his testimonial year!

Moon, who was part of the Exeter team that got promoted into the Premiership in 2010, has chosen to raise money for two causes; The Beacon Centre and the Exeter Chiefs Foundation.

The Chiefs legend will host a number of events, including his testimonial game at Sandy Park on Saturday 4th September. Ben’s Westcountry Warriors will play Stuart Hogg’s Legionnaires. There will be a star studded field with Sara Cox, the first professional female rugby referee, in charge of the game.

Ben’s testimonial year gathers pace from now to early September with a whole series of events planned such as a 5K fun run along Exeter Quayside, the ‘Dreams and Desires fashion show’ at John Lewis, an evening at Steeno’s ‘Stand Off’ bar.
